Namaste. Yoga in Rockridge. is launching rockridgeblog.com — the first Rockridge community blog for community building, events, information, and fun! Namaste Yoga invites its students, local merchants, restaurants and service providers of the Rockridge community to submit news, events and noteworthy items to rockridgeblog.com for inclusion.
Rockridgeblog.com will serve the greater Rockridge community, and will provide a common ground where merchants, parents, students and neighborhood residents can come together. Content for rockridgeblog.com will initially be managed and hosted by Namaste Yoga, but Namaste Yoga hopes that the site will grow organically to be a strong and robust service for the neighborhood with multiple authors managing content for the different areas of the blog. Congratulations to Namaste student Jamie Fasanella who just opened cafe504 over near Lake Merritt. cafe504 is located on Brooklyn and Wesley Ave. and serves Ritual Coffee Roasters (where Namaste staffer MaeMae’s husband, Gabe, is head coffee roaster!).

Namaste student Anastasia Widiarsih decided to go solo and created Indie Cakes- yum! She’s worked at Cafe Fanny and Delfina, two of this bloggers favorite places.
